Why Test??

The introduction of the “Electricity at Work Regulation 1989” requires that all of your electrical appliances should be managed under an appropriate asset maintenance regime to ensure user safety.  Part of this regime is to establish an inspection and testing criteria and to undertake periodic inspection and testing in accordance with the IEE “Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment”

Firstcall can provide a full range of services in accordance with the IEE "Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing".

Three simple pricing options:-

At Firstcall in line with our culture we don't believe in making things complicated therefore our pricing aims to be simple. All tests are priced at £1.75p and all basic onsite repairs are free.

Option One - Planned

Designed to give the greatest flexibility.  Work is undertaken at you premises on agreed date.  Ideal for organisations with a lot of equipment to be tested.

To cater for travel, and to cover the minimum cost of out staff our  minimum charge for on your premises inspection  £99.00/ location.

Option Two - Testing carried out when we are in your area.  This is designed for clients with low numbers of appliances to be tested.  We agree a time & date with you when our staff are in your area to undertake testing.  This makes the travelling time / cost more efficient.  This can be an economic option if a routine testing regime is established as it allows us to plan work more efficiently sharing benefit with you.

To cater for travel, and to cover the minimum cost of out staff our  minimum charge for on your premises inspection  £49.00/ location.

Option Three - Workshop Testing

For clients with only minimal appliances that are portable these can be tested in our workshop. However given the size of some appliances this is not always practical however we can provide this option is required for small volumes.
