It is Firstcall Support Services Ltd policy to engrain within its business / staff's culture to conduct our business in as an environmentally friendly manner as is reasonably practicable by:
· To ensure all Firstcall staff and Contractors adopt a considerate attitude to the environment through appropriate training and communication.
· Eliminating the use of harmful substances where an environmentally
friendly alternative substance can be utilised. In the rare instances,
this cannot be achieved, to work in full cooperation with our clients
to ensure no negative impact to the environment, by limiting the use
to an absolute minimum and using any substance in strict adherence
to the code of practices, manufacturers instructions, and specialist
advice.
· Reducing waste through proper planning ad recycling.
· Re-using materials where reasonable to do so.
· To use renewable sources of energy where possible
· Disposing of all waste in an environmentally friendly manner
and compliant with both legal requirements and good environmental
practices.
· To formalise emergency plans should foreseeable emergencies
arise.
· To foster the adoption of these principles within all contractors
and suppliers engaged to support our activities.
